Mindreading Helly is an interesting case here; her mind and memories have been surgically split between her outside self, about whom she knows almost nothing, and her at-work self, who has really only been awake for a few weeks at most. Helly has a rudimentary knowledge of the world and how to operate within it, but her memories begin at the first moment she woke up at work. Helly herself has no access to the memories of her outie, and from an OOC perspective we don't know a whole lot about what her outie has experienced or what she's even like. I'm happy for telepathic characters to read Helly's mind, and I'm sure they'd be able to sense that something is "off" and that there are parts of Helly's mind that they can't access, but for the sake of RP integrity and not having any more canon information, I'm going to say that characters won't be able to access the memories of her outie.

Medical information Other than the severance chip, she's in good health.

Content warning Severance is a workplace thriller, and it's mostly quite tame in terms of content, but its concept necessarily involves invasive and permanent brain surgery, so if that's a major squick, please let me know and I can avoid mentioning it. Helly's backstory specifically contains a lot of discussion of self-harm and suicide (in a metaphorical sense but also in a literal sense as she made an attempt before), as well as self-hatred in the most literal sense. If you want to avoid any topics, or opt-out of tagging Helly entirely, let me know on this page. Comments are screened. No hard feelings whatsoever!
